My name is Ilya Kosilkin and I am a wedding and family photographer in the Bellingham/Seattle/Tacoma areas and beyond. I have loved photography since I was a teenager, and my interest in photojournalism has influenced my style and vision. One of my driving passions is capturing the emotions of the important moments and relationships of our lives. I am constantly pushing my approach so that my photographs best represent the beauty and feelings of the moment, rather than relying on a repetitive process.
My approach to working with people is to make sure everyone is having fun! I provide enough direction to put the camera-shy at ease, while accepting creative direction to make sure all of the most important moments are captured.
